Housefull 5 Teaser Controversy: Makers File ₹25 Crore Defamation Suit Against YouTube

Housefull 5 Teaser Controversy: More than just due to the star-studded cast, the much-awaited Housefull 5 comes in the limelight for another reason as well. Set for a grand theatrical release on the 6th of June in 2025, the film recently appeared in the middle of a controversy involving the copyrights.

Teaser Removed Over Copyright Claim

The craze for the film reached sky limits when the promo featuring the song Laal Pari, which is composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh was pulled out from YouTube by a copyright claim. According to reports makers had to purchase rights to the song from three different music labels, whereby spending vast amount of money was involved.

Makers Hit Back with Legal Action

In a rather unexpected turn of events, the team of Housefull 5 has now sued YouTube for ₹25 crore for defamation over undue takedown and harm to the film’s promotional exercise.

The rest of the music of the film is presented by T-Series, which put up questions about what made the teaser get flagged in the first place.

New Song ‘Dil E Nadaan’ Adds More Heat

Promotions are going on in full throttle, in spite of the controversy. Recently a new song known as Dil E Nadaan was released, where there was the sizzling pairings such as:

The video changes its course with an unpredictable murder scene arousing interests in the thriller tone of the movie.

The song, which was written by White Noise Collectives, and performed by Madhubanti Bagchi and Sumonto Mukherjee is already being heard due to its catchy tunes and exciting visuals.

Housefull 5 is a comedy, crime, music, and drama film that is shot on a luxury cruise travelling around Europe. This instalment has a whopping budget of ₹300–350 crore and wants to exceed the franchise’s total box office collection till date i.e. of ₹ 498 crore.
